Full Throttle Saloon
ABOUT MICHAEL BALLARD’S FULL THROTTLE SALOON Michael Ballard founded the Full Throttle Saloon in 2000. After many years of being a primary attraction during the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the famous site faced the adversity of a fire destroying the historical infrastructure on September 8, 2015. Just a year later, Michael and long-time friend and partner Jesse James Dupree moved the location to a 600 acre parcel of land and reopened just a year later in 2016. In addition to the Pappy Hoel Campground, the landmark features an Olympic size swimming pool, all you can eat buffets for the Sturgis attendees, a home base for Harley Davidson, and many other attractions with daily staged events planned each year.
